How much is the pay?
Payment may vary from $10 for making a phone call to as much as $500+ in product value for a more extensive assignment.
How much work will I get?
This will vary from month to month. It greatly depends on where you live and whether you want to undertake all assignments offered. CBS's client base is expanding all the time and so are the opportunities.
How is work allocated?
CBS allocates jobs according to postcode. When you register you can nominate up to 8 postcodes. You will receive offers whenever CSB has active clients in your area.
How far will I be asked to travel?
We try to give you assignments close to your home or work within the postcodes you have nominated.
Who pays for the product purchases?
Payment may be in the form of cash, product benefit or a combination of the two. Payment will be made to you within a month. In the event that you are asked to make a purchase which would not form part of your regular shopping, you will be reimbursed according to the terms of each assignment.
How will I be paid?
All CBS shoppers are paid electronically on the second Friday of every month. You will need to provide us with your bank account details so electronic payment can be made.
Is my personal information safe?
If you have any concerns about supplying us with your bank account information, please contact your bank for advice. Many shoppers opt to open a special account for this purpose.
Do I need access to the internet?
Yes. Information on upcoming assignments is sent out to you via email or available through our website. Surveys will need to be completed online.
Do I have to supply an ABN number or Tax Declaration Form?
Mystery shoppers are classified as ‘suppliers’ and mystery shopping is classified as a ‘private recreational pursuit’, not a full-time position. Therefore, as of July 1, 2003, no annual statement of earnings or group certificate will be provided at the end of the financial year. CBS recommends that you consult your tax professional or financial adviser for information regarding your individual tax requirements.
How do I register?
Simply click on the ‘Register’ button below. Please be sure to read through our Privacy Policy/Shopper Agreement very carefully as we will ask you questions relating to this before every assignment. Then fill in the profile and press submit. We will automatically send you a password so you can login to our ‘Shopper Page’.
What else do I need to do?
BEFORE completing your first Mystery Shop it is your responsibility, as a supplier, to print out the ‘Statement by a Supplier’ form located on the ‘Shopper Page’ of this website. You will be given a password to access this page once you have registered as a Mystery Shopper. We cannot generate payment without this signed form.
